Minister, Ministry of Niger Delta Development (MNDD), Engr. Abubakar Momoh has stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Eight-Point agenda would impact positively on the nation’s socio-economic landscape which would create wealth and reduce social deprivation in achieving sustainable development in Nigeria.
Engr. Momoh made this pronouncement when he hosted the executive members from the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), led by its President, Engr. Tasiu Sa’ad Wudil (FNSE) who paid him a courtesy visit in his office, Abuja, recently.
According to the Minister, “Renewed Hope" agenda of Mr. President is aimed at creating a better life for families. The initiatives covers agriculture, education, economic empowerment, health and social investment, focusing on women and the youth, who are the bedrock of the society”, he stated.
Earlier, the President, Nigeria Society of Engineers, Engr. Tasiu Sa'ad Wudil, (FNSE), said he was in the Ministry to congratulate and celebrate with the Minister on his appointment as Minister of the Federal Republic, and to reassure his confidence in patronizing Nigeria Engineers in contributing their quota in the socio-economic development of the country.
